Text analysis retrieves data from scientific literature

The amount of scientific literature that could be useful to pharmaceutical companies has reached a point where it would be impossible for humans to keep up with current research and retrieve all the necessary information.
To solve this problem, Bayer HealthCare has recently implemented text analysis software to manage the large volumes of information stored in scientific articles and patent documents.
The company chose Luxid for Life Sciences software from Temis, which allows the analyses of different kind of information within one single application, from both biology and chemistry.
