Bioinformatics company DNAStar has signed a site license agreement with the Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience in St. Augustine, Florida for the use of the company’s Lasergene sequence analysis software.
The Laboratory is one of the major marine biology research centres in the world. Under the terms of the agreement, scientists at the Institute will be able to use the most current version of DNAStar's Lasergene software for a four-year period.
Lasergene is a comprehensive, easy-to-use suite of tools for molecular biologists and geneticists used primarily in the assembly and analysis of DNA and protein sequences.
